A survey of the grammar, syntax, and vocabulary of biblical Hebrew followed by the reading and translation of significant portions of the Old Testament. Students learn how to make the best use of dictionaries, concordances, commentaries on the Hebrew text, etc., enabling them to do their own study of the Bible.
Included over the 12 weeks is:

Prerequisites
Successful completion of the Discipleship Training School (DTS/CDTS). The full 9-month School of Biblical Studies (SBS) is highly recommended but not required - subject to course leader's discretion.
Accreditation
Twelve (12) semester equivalent credits will be earned upon successful completion of the Old Testament Hebrew course (CHR/HMT 257). These credits may be applied to a U of N degree program or transferred to other colleges or universities.
