DTS Equip is not only for new staff. Many of these topics can be extended, as well as new ones added depending upon the experiential demographic of the participants. We accept school leaders, program directors, and even base leaders. DTS Equip is also open to people from ministries and schools other than DTS; we have material suitable for these people also.
The schedule of the DTS Equip follows the model of a U of N “full learning week”: lectures, processing times and small groups, work duties, assignments, and local outreach. Participants are also expected to read an array of relevant documents and books, as well as research, construct and deliver a short teaching as part of a small team. As it is an accredited UofN seminar, all elements are evaluated and a final grade awarded. The following list is a general idea of how we move through topics and various themes.
