Discipleship and Training
Training in the Music Company is primarily something you pursue on your own, through your own practice, self-study and private lessons.
We do offer a limited amount of training in the form of two-week seminars that we run three times per year. Topics we’ve covered range from Inductive Bible Study, Integrity, Leadership and Worldview to Vocal Technique, Music Theory and Music History.
We try to provide an atmosphere of growth in our company. We want to be people who strive to grow both in our relationship with God and in our musical abilities. Our heart in discipleship is to learn from one another and to provide accountability without harsh control.
Evangelism
Many of our tours and outreaches focus on “secular” gigs in coffee shops, clubs and bars, both in the US and overseas. Our purpose in this is to bring the light of Christ into places that don’t often see it.
Mobilization
Other tours focus on the church, challenging Christians to be more active in reaching the lost in their own communities and across the world. This includes sharing about missions and encouraging people to follow God’s call on their lives.
